Frodo, Sam, and Gandalf the Grey only lasted two days at our house. When I asked the kids if they wanted to say 'goodbye', Kevin quipped, "Nah. We didn't even know 'em." I guess that's looking on the bright side. Not enough time to get too attached.

That is funny! When Sydney's fish died a while back we thought she was going to be really sad... she asked for a hamster instead:) Uh, No but we can get another fish. So silly!
poor fish! that's about how my luck with keeping fish alive is! just so you know, if you get those fish from petsmart, they have a 14 day guarantee....if the fish dies within 14 days of purchase, you can take them back for a refund or replacement fish. after i took my dead fish back for the second time, i just got a refund! =)
