Playing Catch-up...

The past weeks have been full, to say the least. We have had several rounds of houseguests, two birthday parties, Kevin started a new job (after almost fifteen years with the same company!), we bought the house we've been renting for the past year and embarked on improvements. Life is good, and the Lord is stretching us! Today, actually, is our last day of school, though it will not involve cracking any books! I plan on posting about our day at a later time. Seeing as how I'm such a consistent blogger of late! Ha! Here are some photos from recent life.

Lily had her first violin recital.  For some reason I don't have a picture of her actually playing.  Here she is with her teacher as Mrs. P tunes her up.  Her song sounded beautiful!

Rowan's beginning her last year of single digits!  :)

We now officially have two teenagers in the house.  My baby is growing up!  Noah *loves* it when I say stuff like that. (Note the roof demolition in the background.)

Nana and Aunt DJ visited and we had a great time catching up with them.  We managed to squeeze in some garage-sale-ing, which is always fun!

Rowan's birthday friends. Trampoline shots are so funny!

Eli was not too sure about crazy Aunt DJ at first, but she quickly became his favorite friend.

Kevin and I before church.  We often find that we unintentionally match clothes on Sundays.  I suppose this comes from being married for 17 years.

When my parents were here visiting, we had a lovely picnic at a beautiful park. The kids spent most of their time up a large bald cypress tree, making me nervous.

My little Memory Master.  She worked hard!

I have some things on my mind I would like to write about, and I hope to do that soon.  Now, though, my kids are urging me to get going with our day and our fun plans!

Hope you see God's good hand in your day today.
