One of Those Weeks...

I hesitated to write this, partly because I don't want to be a whiner, and partly because it's humbling. But I'm going to write it anyway, because it's true and I covet your prayers. Today--and this week, really--I am struggling. I feel overwhelmed, tired, anxious, and blue. Quite a confession to put out in the open, I know. If you think of it, please pray for me--I want to keep my eyes on Christ and rest in Him.

It is a privilege to pray for you! Thank you for sharing in your struggles. Life and especially motherhood are not easy. You are perfectly equipped for the job, and you are not alone!

Be encouraged and hang in there!

Thinking of you and your precious family!

I'm praying for you, Candice. "The Lord is my strength and my shield...." Psalm 28:7. God doesn't GIVE me strength, He IS my strength as I rely on Him alone. I love you and am your biggest (and oldest) fan! Mom

I'm praying for you my friend of days gone by. =) As I read this my eyes filled with tears as I find myself in the same place. However, I trust that we are both held, loved and treasured by our great God.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Please pour out your grace on Candice. Wrap her in your arms of love and hold her tightly. Help her to feel your presence, to know that You are her Father and that You love her beyond what she can even imagine! Help her to know that You want only what is best for her, even when Your best requires that she travel through the valley. Help her to not feel overwhelmed, to know that You have not called her to carry more than she can bear. Be her strength; be her endurance. Cover her with Your peace and Your rest.

In Jesus' Name,
Amen

I will be praying for you!

Candice: Hang in there. There are many times when we feel overwhelmed, tired and discouraged. Just remember the Lord doesn't remove burdens but comes along side us us to help us carry our burdens. ALso remember that the Lord will never test us beyond what we are capable of handling (1 Cor 10:13). I get down and out with my responsibilities too. Here I am at "60" with still a lot of things to pay off and retirement just a figment of my imagination. We have to live each day for the Lord and make it count. You are a very strong young lady, but we are all tested. That's what makes us rely on the Lord more and more. God Bless you. Uncle Joe
PS You are blessed with a strong Christian husband and 7 wonderful little human beings. The Lord is your rock and Kevin is your rock too.

I'm sorry. It is never fun to feel that way and yet that can be reality at time. I'll think of you today...especially when I'm feeling overwhelmed too.

It's ok to ask for prayer for ourselves, God made me realize the importance of this last winter. I usually struggle at the end of winter with a mild depression and had to reach out and ask for prayer. It really is ok, it isn't whining, it's realistic and at the same time humbling, to be able to admit that we do need help.

Thank you for stopping by my blog, I've enjoyed reading on yours.

Bless you!
