Socialism = Slavery

"One consequence of such politico-economic policies is a return to slavery. The more socialist a country, i.e., the more rigorously it is dedicated to fiat laws and money, the more marked the return to slavery. Slavery violates the fundamental premise of dominion work, responsibility. In slavery, an elite group orders work done. Personal motivation and purpose is replaced by social plans and goals. The elite assume more and more responsibility and freedom from control while placing all others under the slavery of a radically regulated and controlled society." ~ R. J. Rushdoony, Systematic Theology, p. 1049

Socialist countries like France create "social equity by means of laws, tax policies, and social spending that reduce income disparity" (CIA Factbook and 17 years of direct observation). This way, everyone is economically the same and the government dictates how you should live. You are free to operate, but only under their established tactics. That is the way we are headed.

America's founders understood the true meaning of freedom. A right based on our equality because we are all made in the image of God.

They built a country where people would govern themselves under that guiding principle.

If those who make, evaluate and carry out laws in the USA today don't believe in that absolute truth, then we will indeed loose our freedoms, one tiny bit at a time. Pretty soon we will be like frogs in an ever increasing boiling pan of water and it will be too late. Think about Roe v. Wade and the freedom these kids have lost because of relative moralism. It has been over 30 years and we're still unable to turn the law around. Slavery was even worse.
