Heading to the Hospital

This is the last picture of me with this little one on the inside. We are heading to the hospital this morning for induction. I am a little sad because I was so hoping to go into labor on my own, but I know the Lord is with us regardless, and soon we will meet this sweet little one and it won't really matter so much how he or she got here, right? Thank you for your prayers today, and I hope to be back soon sharing lots of pictures of little E.!

Why Ron Paul?

If any of you are on my husband's email list, you've already seen this article, or at least the link to it. This is a great short-ish explanation by Voddie Baucham about why he supports Ron Paul for the Republican presidential nomination. I thought it was really well-said, so take a minute to read it, if you can.

You Know What's on My Mind

I'm sitting here tooling around online during my Mommy Break. Keely makes this happen by preparing lunch for the kids each day. Love that! :) I thought this was an interesting look at popular baby names recently and over the past century or so. Here's a look at different facts about fertility in the U.S. (Be warned that some of the ads here are a bit immodest...)

We are plugging away at school today and looking forward to my parents' arrival tomorrow. Hope your week's going great!

Waiting and Keeping Busy....

This is why we have a king sized bed.

Well, no baby yet, so I thought I'd quickly say 'hello'. I have been feeling really good though today I am t-i-r-e-d!

As many of you know, we have been renting a house for the past year from friends who are trying to sell it, and we've been showing it for them. In the past two weeks, our friends have lowered the price significantly, and so the showings have really picked up! Tomorrow, we actually have *four*, which just means we have to be gone for a long chunk of time after we get the house ready. We are really hoping and praying that they will sell it. If they don't, we'll stay here another year and continue to rent, but the house will be off the market for that time (hallelujah!). If they do sell in the next six weeks, we'll need to find something else to rent and move our family rather quickly. I must admit, I was struggling with all the unknowns for several days, having a hard time sleeping and trying to figure out all our options, instead of resting in the Lord. Thankfully, I've had much more peace about it all lately, and I know that the Lord will provide for our needs. We are just praying for His will, whatever that is, and the grace to continue to trust Him.

Mission Accomplished

Okay, this is a bit outside of my normal preference, but I must admit that I *love* this! Plus, it makes my kids dance in hilarious funky ways. :)

Christmas pics and The Next Big Thing...

Noah loves his Legos!

Keely models one of her new tops and scarves, smartly paired with pj bottoms. :)

Lily received the doll from us, and the matching nightgown set from her Nana. So cute!

Rowan wanted the 'brown' doll for an adopted sister for her other doll. We all agreed that she was lovely with her dark curls.

Annes loves all things princess!

Daddy looks sleepy...I wonder why?

Sam looks on as Annes plays with his new toy.

This r/c Lightning McQueen has been pretty much all Joe's played with lately!

Can you tell I really like Sarah Groves? I still haven't really gotten to listen to this CD yet, though. Soon....

And now, with Christmas and New Year's over, we're looking forward to the next big thing....or should I say very little thing? Sometime in the next two or three weeks, we'll be meeting our new little baby boy or girl. I'm so excited!!
